The Bronze Door Society<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As the oldest member-managed affinity group at The Mariners\u2019 Museum and Park, The Bronze Door Society is an impactful group of community leaders who play a significant role in the conservation and care of our Collections. Members of the Society make a minimum annual contribution of $1,000. These funds directly support the Annual Project Selection, where Members cast their votes to fund a range of conservation efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tribute and memorial gifts are a meaningful way to celebrate special occasions and remember loved ones while supporting the mission of The Mariners\u2019 Museum and Park. IRA Transfer & Gifts of Stock<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are 72 (70\u00bd if you turned 70\u00bd before January 1, 2020) years old or older and own an individual retirement account (IRA), you must take a required minimum distribution (RMD). You can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to The Mariners\u2019 Museum and Park without paying income taxes on the money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Legacy Society<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Legacy Society honors individuals who have included The Mariners\u2019 Museum and Park in their estate or giving plans by naming the Museum as a beneficiary to wills, living trusts, insurance policies, IRAs, and other methods of planned gifts. You may designate your legacy gift to the giving area that means the most to you, whether you choose K-12 Education, The Mariners\u2019 Park, or an Endowment Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
